Manufacturing Process
our manufacturing process

Workbench has always recognised the UK's furniture manufacturing sector is remarkably diverse. We are known for our expertise in combinig a mix of materials to create unique furniture. Over 15 years we have established partnerships with our unique network of factories across the South of England and worked together to generate an adaptable and innovative approach when making Workbench furniture. We have an array of innovative skills, up to date tooling, materials and techniques available to us, allowing us to push the boundaries of what is possible. This entire process is managed by our in house design, production and installation team, ensuring that we meet our goals and the ambitions of our clients. It is crucial to Workbench that projects can take their own path rather than be driven by the limitations of a sole manufacturing facility. In our experience limiting production to a single factory or workshop restricts creativity. The Workbench portfolio demands that flexibility, adaptability and capacity are maintained. The ability to customise furniture to meet the specific needs of a business is a hallmark of Workbench’s factory partnerships, providing a multi-layered UK manufacturing base that is both robust and broad in its skills and capacity.
